What This Means

Voltage between CN32-12 and CN32-13 not within 7V-12V range; Fan motor mechanical failure or blockage; Bad wiring connection or loose connector; Pulse signal not reaching MICOM from fan rotation; MICOM ground connection problem

What actually causes this:

Condenser fan frozen from water or mechanical bearing failure in motor

Inspect compressor cooling fan area for ice or debris accumulation

How to Fix

  1. 1

    1. Measure voltage between CN32-12 and CN32-13 (should be 7V-12V DC)

  2. 2

    2. Verify pulse signal (CN32-11) alternates between 0V and 2-3V

  3. 3

    3. Inspect compressor cooling fan for ice or debris

  4. 4

    4. Check wiring connection to CN32

  5. 5

    5. Verify MICOM ground connection at J23 jumper and CN76-4 (orange)

  6. 6

    6. Check for soldering issues on PCB near CN32
